We’re delighted you’re considering joining BID Services as our next Chief Executive Officer, leading our mission to create a world without barriers, in which people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or sight impaired have access to the opportunities, information and services that matter to them.
BID Services is a charity that specialises in working with clients and their families and carers, who are deaf, hard of hearing, sight impaired, severely sight impaired or have a dual sensory loss.
We provide specialist services, activities and social opportunities, shaped by local need and communities. Examples of our services include information, advice and guidance, British Sign Language interpreting, and rehabilitation and mobility training supporting those with sight loss.
We are looking for a new CEO to succeed our current Chief Executive who will be retiring at the end of the year. The CEO will report directly to me as Chair of the Board and will work closely with the Board and Senior Management Team to lead BID into the next stage of its development.
We are looking for an individual who has proven experience as both a strategic and operational leader and who has shaped and delivered organisational strategy, growth and change. If you bring strong commercial acumen, experience of working with those who are deaf, hard of hearing, sight impaired or people with disabilities and a passionate, focused leadership style that delivers positive and meaningful outcomes, we would welcome your application.
